Sunnybank Private Hospital is fantastic. I have had 3 babies there and will be having my next there as well. The midwives are amazing, professional, caring and so very helpful during such a special time. Although there are newer hospitals around, I know that I am receiving the best quality of care when I have my babies at Sunnybank Private. I cannot fault the hospital at all - the food is great, the staff fantastic and there is even free parking! I cannot recommend Sunnybank Private Hospital enough!!

Unsure if nursing staff were underresouced but on 1 day I was woken from a sleep to enable bed change and showering - this still hadn't been done 9hrs later nor my TEDs put back on! Just not good enough for a surgical ward guys!

The surgical ward was great in terms of facility, however to observe nursing and orderly personnel shouting for each other down the corridors, and a volume of noise through times of day and night that were akin to a party this really let this hospital down for me. With doors closed and industrial ear plugs, the noise was unacceptable. I have never experienced this in any other hospital. The food isn't great - some meals inedible.

Had to take my wife in to emergency, nurses and the ER doctor were fantastic, no trouble finding car parks unlike the inner city hospitals.

The best little hospital you could wish for. A real little community. I've spent many weeks here at a time and have seen the personalities and interaction between staff and physicians. Professional Care without a lot of fuss. Service of Palazzo Versace in a warm country hotel kinda feel

I have the upmost respect for the surgical team who operated on me. The level of nursing care I received varied across the course of a week. With an extended stay in ICU I received often times more compassion and thorough care from agency nursing than staff. There were visible behaviours from staff nursing towards the agency nursing team particularly from those who were clearly young and possibly inexperienced.

30 years on, its a cool feeling to drive past and check out the place you were born.. if they're still in business after all this time then they have to be doing something right
